Indian Medical Association (IMA) Barasat branch has written to the Chief Medical Officer of health in North 24 Parganas urging him to take necessary action against Specialist Clinic and Diagnostic situated at Nabapally in Barasat that had given an absurd TSH report to a patient.
In the letter to the CMoH, Secretary of the IMA Barasat branch Dr Biswajit Saha urged him to take necessary action against the diagnostic clinic whose report might have put the patient in trouble if her family members wound continue her treatment on the basis of the report. Amit Majumadr, husband of the victim Reshmi Majumdar also lodged compliant with various forums in this regard.
