Kitsch goes chic for WLFW

Easy breezy and chic. That’s how James Ferreira’s collection can be described. It is urban, it is suave –  yet the ensembles can glam up any party. The collection emphasises how one can use kitsch and not overkill. He used light fabrics like cotton voiles, crepes and silk jerseys to create jumpsuits and gowns. He weaved in the Ganesha and floral motifs – making hand painting almost look like faded digital prints. The icing on the cake? The cute little jig by the designer to close the show.
