AAP accused the BJP of indulging in horse-trading, and sought dissolution of the assembly. Arvind Kejriwal met L-G Jung on Wednesday and submitted a letter to him along with a copy of a CD of the ‘sting’ operation which shows AAP legislator Dinesh Mohaniya being offered a bribe of Rs 4 crore by a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader to quit the assembly to improve the BJP’s chances of forming a government in Delhi.

‘In your 4 September letter to the President, you have recommended invitation to the BJP to form the government. The developments in the past few days have made it clear that the BJP does not want to form the government in accordance with the Constitution,’ said Kejriwal in the letter.

‘Hence, we request you to again write a letter to the President apprising him of how the BJP was violating the Constitution. We request you to urge the president to dissolve the Delhi assembly,’ the letter added.

Earlier, AAP leader Manish Sisodia too met Jung here and said: ‘We requested him (Jung) to revise the letter sent to the President seeking his permission to invite the BJP to form the government in Delhi, as the party is trying to form a government through horse-trading.’

Sisodia also said that if the government is formed through horse-trading, its problems such as corruption, school education and price rise will not be solved. ‘If such a government is formed in Delhi, then it will be a burden on the people of Delhi. So, we have requested the L-G to revise the contents of his letter and this time seek dissolution of the assembly,’ he added.
