Kalraj Mishra suffers minor injuries in road mishap

Mishra suffered minor bruises and returned home soon after the incident. “The incident took place around 9:30 am near Centaur hotel when a cab hit Mishra’s car. It was a minor accident and we have arrested the driver of the offending vehicle,” said DCP (IGI) M I Haider.

Police have registered a case under Section 279 of IPC (Rash and negligent driving) and the driver of the cab identified as Ashu Sharma, who is around 30 years old has been arrested.

In June last year, then Rural Development Minister Gopinath Munde had died of injuries in a road accident in the heart of the national Capital. Munde (64) was on his way to the airport when the SX4 he was travelling in was hit by a speeding Indica car at the Aurobindo Marg-Tughlak Road intersection.
