Goa Institute of Management (GIM) has become the first Indian business school to qualify for, and participate in the finals of prestigious Map the System global competition, hosted by the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at the University of Oxford. Held at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, the competition saw participation from 134 student finalists from 50 institutions across 17 countries who excelled in their respective campus and national competitions.
Nagaland University, the only Central University in the state, is launching a new Post Graduate (MA) programme in Rural Development and Management aimed at building a cadre of professionals. They will be equipped to address the pressing challenges and opportunities in rural areas, especially in Nagaland and the North Eastern Region. Graduates of this programme will have strong career pathways in government, NGOs, academia, and entrepreneurship besides related sectors.
