On Thursday, a seven-year-old girl was raped by her juvenile neighbour in the Millennium City, Gurgaon.
According to police, Pappu Mandal, father of the victim, hails from Bihar. He lives in a rented accomodation with his family in Laxmi Vihar, Sector-5. On Thursday, he noticed that his daughter was missing. When he was looking for her, he heard her crying.
The girl was lying in a pool of blood. She narrated everything to her father, who then took her to the Civil hospital.
He informed the police and after that a medical examination of the girl was carried out, which confirmed rape. ‘We have filed a case of abduction and rape against a 17-year-old person. Our investigations are on,’ said a senior officer of west range.
