In another case of juvenile crime, three juveniles allegedly murdered a 17-year-old boy in Outer Delhi’s Bawana area in the early hours of Wednesday.
According to the police, the juvenile went out with his three friends and had a heated argument in which one of them who was showing off his country-made pistol fired at him. The 17-year-old boy’s body was found on the Kanjhwala-Bawana road by some passer-by. Police have detained several youth from the area for questioning. The juvenile used to work as a part time electrician in a local shop. According to the police, the incident took place at around 11 pm when the juvenile, a class X student went out with his friends to have a drink.
Police said that when the juvenile did not return home, his family started frantically searching for him and a local informed them that he was lying on the Kanjhwala-Bawana road in a pool of blood. The juvenile was then rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. As per the cop investigating the case, statements of the juvenile’s family members have been recorded and his body has been sent for post-mortem after which it was handed over to the family.
