A police inspector, who was arrested in connection with alleged suicide of a local woman journalist, was sent to judicial custody after his police remand ended, police said. The accused Amit Kumar was yesterday produced in a court here which sent him to judicial custody for 14 days, a police spokesperson said.
Kumar was arrested in connection with the suicide of the woman journalist who allegedly jumped to death from her residential building on the intervening night of May 1 and May 2.
