JNU v-c appointed ugc member

The JNU Vice-Chancellor Jagadesh Kumar has been appointed as a member of the University Grants Commission (UGC).

 Kumar, a former IIT professor took charge as the JNU V-C in January this year. “The government has appointed M Jagadesh Kumar, V-C, Jawaharlal Nehru University as a Member of UGC,” an official statement said.
