Jan Aushadhi store to benefit poor from remote Haryana areas: SRM University Chancellor

“The PRIMSR Hospital, which is already offering free treatment to hundreds of patients every day, will benefit tens of hundreds of poor and destitute from the remote areas of Haryana to get medicine at an affordable price,” the Founder Chancellor of SRM University, Dr Paari Vendhar, said after inaugurating the medical store.

After the invocation, Dr GJ Samathanam, the Director of Research and students’ advisor of the University, praised the students for choosing SRM University Delhi-NCR.  

Dr Paari Vendhar said that the SRM Universities at Chennai, Sonepat and Gangdok, were imparting 66000 students, who represent different countries and their diverse culture. Prof S Rajarajan, the Founder Vice-Chancellor, SRM University Delhi-NCR, exhorted that today is a red-letter day in the history of this university as SRM is meant for higher education and research, and aimed at making a world class university with all latest infrastructure and research facilities. He also thanked, both Central and state governments, for the generously granting permission to run the hospital and the medical store for the betterment of the people.
