IPR Institute inaugurated at Ansal University, Ggn

In order to undertake advanced study and research in the emerging areas of IPR with an inter-disciplinary approach, Sushant Global Centre for IPR Education and Research has been inaugurated at the School of Law, Ansal University, Gurgaon, on February 27 this year.

Former External Affairs Minister and Former Law and Justice Minister Salman Khurshid was the chief guest at the event. He expressed his pleasure at this initiative by the Institution and said that this was a timely and appropriate recognition of this critical topic of IPR.

The inauguration ceremony was presided by Honorable Chancellor Ansal University, Sushil Ansal, who said this centre will promote critical thinking in the area of IPR, which is a burning topic of today.

In his welcome note, Prof Raj S Dhankar, Vice-Chancellor, Ansal University, spoke about the growth and potential of law education in India, and said that the School of Law aims to impart quality legal education with a view to producing world class professionals, scholars and academicians in law. The Centre will endeavour to sensitise the application and enforcement of IPR in a fair manner and conduct research projects.
