An internet governance workshop will be organised for the first time in India with the objectives to raise awareness on internet governance issues. Internet Service Provider Association of India (ISAPI) and National Internet Exchange of India are going to organise an Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APRIGF) on internet governance issues in Asia.
Rajesh Chharia, president of ISPAI said: ‘the APRIGF 2014 will also see Youth Internet Governance Forum (YIGF) 2014, to be held in Noida. While APRIGF 2014 is scheduled to be conducted from 1-9 August, 2014, the YIGF 2014 will be held from 3 August to 6 August.
