India physically challenged team beat Pak in T20 series

India’s physically challenged cricket team won the three-match Twenty20 series 2-1 against Pakistan here on Monday.

In the third and final T20 match of the series organised by All India Cricket Association for the Physically Challenged, India posted 138 runs after electing to bat.

Vikrant Keni scored a half-century for the home team. In reply, Pakistan tied the score as they reached 138 in their allotted 20 overs, losing eight wickets in the process.

The two teams had to play the super over to decide the winner of the match. In the super over, Umar Kamal’s brilliant effort with the bat helped Pakistan win the match by eight runs.

Indian batsman Keni bagged both the man-of-the-match as well as man-of-the-series awards for his consistent batting.

Indian team got the winners’ trophy and a prize money of Rs. 1 lakh, while Pakistan team received Rs. 50,000. Best bowler of the series award went to Iqbal Khan of India, while Pakistan’s Umar Kamal was adjudged the best batsman and Karim Khan of Pakistan got the best fielder award.
