In separate incidents, 2 bodies recovered from Outer Delhi

In two separate incidents, two bodies have been recovered from Outer Delhi’s Narela area on Sunday. Post preliminary investigation, police suspect both cases as acts of suicide.

In the first incident, the man has been identified as Surendra (45), a resident of Sannot area in Narela. He was staying with his family. On Sunday morning, at around 6 am, police received a call that a body has been found hanging from a tree. When a team reached the spot, they found Surendra’s body hanging from a tree near a lake. The villagers spotted him and made a call to the police control room. 

The body has been sent for post-mortem and investigation is on from all plausible angles. Meanwhile, post the preliminary investigation, cops also claimed that Surendra was drunk when he allegedly committed suicide.

In another incident, a 35-year old man was also found hanging from a tree near DDA Park at Narela’s Munim Bagh at 7:06 am on Sunday morning. 

The deceased is yet to be identified. Police have also recovered SIM cards and mobile numbers from his possession, which were found to be switched off. The body has been sent to Babu Jagjeevan Ram Hospital for post-mortem. For both the incidents, cases have been registered under appropriate sections and further probe is on.
