IIT, Kharagpur, has emerged as the top engineering college in EDU-RAND ranking 2014 followed by IITs in Delhi and Kanpur. IITs in Chennai and Mumbai have occupied the fourth and fifth places respectively in the ranking. The EDU-RAND ranking is intended to guide students seeking admission to an engineering college or university, according to a release.
