Indian Institute of Delhi (IIT-D), on 18 March has got the possession of 50-acre land at Rajiv Gandhi Education City in Sonipat near Delhi, to built it’s new extension campus.
According to the sources from IIT-D, Haryana government has already alloted 50 acres to IIT-D to build science and technology park, faculty developing centre, and high performance computing centre. Earlier IIT-D had sought cooperation from Haryana to set up the extension centre in Bahadurgarh.
