The Catholic Bishops Conference of India (CBCI) Chair at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will organise the fourth Mother Teresa Memorial Lecture on 31October 2012. The recipients of various awards from the School of Social Work will be felicitated during the function by the chief guest, Abdul Waheed Khan, an internationally-acclaimed educationist, former Assistant Director General for communication and information at UNESCO, former Vice-Chancellor of IGNOU and most recently the president of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University of Business in Bahrain. Khan will deliver a lecture on ‘Power of Peace’. The CBCI Chair at IGNOU has been organising the annual Mother Teresa Memorial Lecture since 2008. The first lecture was delivered by the former President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam, on ‘Giving Dignity to Human Life.’
