ICAI officials meet Meghalaya CM

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) recently submitted a study report on 'Increasing the Revenue of the State and Convergence of Resources that flow to the state in various forms' to Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma.

 The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India's CPF&GA Chairman Amarjit Chopra briefed Sangma about ICAI and its various initiatives. Different measures for enhancing revenue generation of the state and the need for public private partnerships (PPP) in the state were discussed.  The services of ICAI in the state level public enterprises (SLPEs) for better presentation of financial statements and in auditing various Central government schemes were also discussed.
