Air Chief Marshal N A K Browne will be on a four-day visit to Myanmar starting on Monday to strengthen military ties between the two countries. The visit assumes significance in the light of increasing military cooperation between the two countries and is taking place before the proposed visit of Defence Minister A K Antony there next year, IAF officials said.

During the visit, Browne will hold talks with the political and military leadership of Myanmar and hold discussions on further strengthening military cooperation.

Browne will lead a five-member Composite Defence Delegation comprising senior officers of the three services.
