Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya is confident that ‘he is innocent’ and the CBI probe is in his own interest.
When asked whether he will be given a clean chit by the investigating agency, he told Millennium Post at
CBI headquarters in New Delhi: ‘I don’t know about the CBI but I am sure I am innocent. There is nothing to hide. We asked for the CBI enquiry.’
The former Uttar Pradesh minister has been undergoing lie-detection test since Thursday in connection with the murder of Kunda DSP Zia-ul-Haq.
Raja Bhaiya, who reached the CBI headquarter at about 6 pm on Friday, said, ‘I have been asked about 200 questions till now. I have replied to all their queries.’
He also distanced himself from his driver Guddu Singh and his cousin Ajay Singh who have been arrested in connection with the murder by the CBI.
‘Guddu Singh was never my driver. I don’t know who spread these rumours,’ he said. He also rubbished the rumours that he feeds his enemies to crocodiles.
