Civic authorities have taken a decision to make HUDA City Centre a one-way route to de-congest traffic. According to the data received from the Metro authorities, approximately 30 per cent of
the Metro users get here by car, 30 per cent by auto-rickshaws, and another 30 per cent by buses.
Around nine lakh commuters use this junction every day.
The traffic police have decided to implement this decision from the first of January, when traffic will be allowed to go from IFFCO Chowk towards Sector 56 through this junction, but not the other way round.
So, if one wants to go to Signature Towers, IFFCO Chowk, Sector 43 or Faridabad Road from Sector 56 or Subhash Chowk, one would have to take a right towards Signature Towers from the HUDA City Centre intersection, take another right onto Leisure Valley Road and then turn right towards HUDA City Centre to go straight towards Sector 56, left towards Faridabad Road or take an U-turn for Subhash Chowk.
Commuters going towards IFFCO Chowk or MG Road would have to take a left at the IFFCO Chowk Metro Station.
Normally, a large number of vehicles cross the junction to reach IFFCO Chowk, Signature Tower, Subhash Chowk, Sohna Road and other parts of the city.
