Delhi tourism along with INTACH organised a three day long quiz competition for students of the Capital.
The theme of the quiz Sawaal Dilli Ka concentrated on various aspects of Delhi. The competition was conducted on a variety of interesting formats. There were audio visual rounds, buzzer rounds among others. Questions on Delhi’s history, geography, politics, language, Institutions, science and technology, culture, sports, famous personalities, arts and crafts were asked.

The aim of the quiz was to stir the minds of young students and simultaneously, develop a sense of pride for the city of Delhi. This unique Quiz Competition saw huge participation from schools from Delhi and NCR. More than 250 schools participated in this event. Delhi Public School, RK Puram won the first prize in this state level quiz competition who were given a cash prize of Rs 50,000. The second prize was won by Kendriya Vidyalaya, Andrews Ganj who were given a cash prize of Rs 26,000.

Somnath Bharti, minister of Tourism, government of Delhi graced the occasion and distributed the prizes to the winners. During the prize distribution ceremony he said that this type of Quiz Competitions is a way forward to enlighten and spread awareness about Delhi and its rich heritage. The winners of the six semi finals contested for the State Level Final. The Quiz was conducted by Kunal Savarkar of Quizcraft.
