The music launch of Pakistani ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali-starrer ‘Ghar Wapsi’ in the city on Monday is facing fresh hurdles, with right wing Hindu Sena threatening to disrupt the event, following which a police complaint has been filed.
Film’s director Suhaib Ilyasi has lodged a complaint with the Connaught Place Police Station, following a “threat” call from Vishnu Gupta, the chief of Hindu Sena, allegedly threatening to disrupt the launch.
“I have met DCP, New Delhi, to talk about the threat regarding disruption of the music launch of my film ‘Ghar Wapasi’ tomorrow. The film stars Ghulam Ali sahab and the Hindu Sena president is saying that they will not let the event to happen,” Ilyasi said, adding that he had received the “threat” call from Gupta on his cellphone.
