Helicopters from Delhi to Vrindavan from today

Vrindavan will be connected to Delhi by helicopter services from Wednesday. The inaugural flight will be flagged off at Vrindavan at 1:30 pm by MP Jayant Chaudhary.  In Delhi the service will be available from Indira Gandhi International Airport's Terminal 1-D (domestic terminal).

The daily service will be operated by public sector undertaking Pawan Hans Helicopters Ltd   in association with Uttar Pradesh Tourism The one way ticket fare per passenger will be Rs 3,900 while the two-way fare has been kept Rs 7,000.

It also operaties services in Assam, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Tripura, Sikkim, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep and plans to start services soon at Himachal Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh. The company proposes to venture into fixed wing aircraft and seaplane operations. It has also recently conducted a detailed study in Uttar Pradesh to connect the Buddhist Circuit in association with UP Tourism by helicopter.
