Update: 2013-05-02 02:26 GMT
The Delhi High Court on Wednesday asked the city police and the Delhi Pollution Control Board (DPCB) to decide a plea seeking to declare Ramlila Maidan as a 'Silence Zone' because noise created during the protests, rallies and dharnas affected the lives of nearby residents. A bench of chief justice D Murugesan and justice Jayant Nath asked DPCB and also the commissioner of police to take a decision on the representation given by the petitioner Abdul Ghaffar Khan within four months time.
