The Gujarat High Court on Monday set aside a complaint against the chairperson and the managing director of State Bank of India for not crediting a princely sum of 52 paise into the account of a Vadodara-based person. Justice J B Pardiwala passed the order on the petition of SBI Chairperson Arundhati Bhattacharya and managing director B Sriram seeking to quash legal proceedings initiated by Vadodara district court against them for ‘sedition’. The district court had issued summons to them on the complaint filed by businessman Vasudev Thakkar.
