Haryana steps up action to promote agriculture in state

With a view to promote modern farming amongst the farmers of district Sirsa, Haryana Agriculture Department would provide 616 different modern agricultural implements on which a subsidy of Rs 80.67 lakh would be given to farmers. A spokesman said these implements would be provided under integrated scheme of oilseeds, pulses, oil palm and maize, a state scheme, National Agricultural Development Scheme and National Food Safety Mission. He said to distribute these implements to the farmers, applications have been invited from the farmers and these would be submitted by 30 Nov.
