Update: 2013-09-07 22:31 GMT
Senior BJP leader who is also a board member in Delhi Development Authority (DDA) Harshvardhan has slammed the government’s move to allow real estate activity in industrial areas. He flayed the government for failing to develop industrial areas and alleged connivance of bureaucrats and real estate mafia behind the plan calling it vote bank politics.

‘This effectively cancels out the government’s vision of developing “clean, high technology and skilled industries” as articulated in the Delhi Industrial Policy 2010-21 and announced by the chief minister in 2010,’ said Harshvardhan, former city BJP president.
