The first tweet on the profile was regarding recently launched ‘Gurgaon Police Mobile App’, an application which facilitates direct connect with the Gurgaon police.
The mobile app is available for Android, Apple and Windows Phone.
Earlier last year, Gurgaon police launched its Gurgaon Traffic Police (GTP) page on facebook, a social networking site which has been liked by 16, 708 people till May, 2014.
‘It gives us positive platform for public participation where we can exchange views with the citizens and get close to the residents’ complaints which is mandatory for moral policing these days,’ Mittal added.
