G.O.T isn’t escapism

Actor Natalie Dormer thinks Game of Thrones is not for people who watch TV as a form of escapism. The 34-year-old blonde beauty stars as Margaery Tyrell on the HBO series. She said she knows the popular fantasy drama is unlikely to appeal to people who wish to put their everyday concerns behind them, because of its graphic depiction, reported Femalefirst.

“All I know is that I turn on the news, and it’s covering a boy drowning off the coast, or children being shown beheading videos. The horror of human nature is prevalent in our world, and I appreciate that some people want to turn on the telly for escapism - but if that’s what you want, don’t watch Game of Thrones,” Dormer said.
