Gold prices hit one-month high and reclaimed the Rs 27,000 per 10-gram level at the bullion market on Monday on higher offtake by stockists and investors coupled with firm buying triggered by bullish global trend.
Standard gold of 99.5 per cent purity shot up by Rs 440 to settle at Rs 27,325 per 10 gm from last Saturday’s closing level of Rs 26,885.
