Update: 2013-10-24 00:30 GMT
That there’ll be a mad rush for Sachin Tendulkar’s swansong was a given, but Mumbai Cricket Association is bracing itself to handle a huge demand for tickets from abroad. MCA president Sharad Pawar said the association was inundated by calls from USA, UK and other cricket-playing nations asking for tickets. ‘People from Test-playing countries as well as America are demanding tickets. But we have prior commitments and can’t say now how many tickets will be available,’ Pawar said.
