BJP MP Tarun Vijay has hailed the passage of the Geospatial Bill, asserting that it would help put an end to Internet colonialism. He said: “It is very heartening to see the government of India initiating the process of enacting Geospatial Bill, which will give the law enforcing agencies the power to put a policy in place.”
The MP added: “Although I am aware of the policy changes under consideration, the law will set the ball rolling for getting views and suggestions from cross section of industry and society for enabling the policy for survey and mapping.”
