Gadkari announces new NH connecting Gurgaon and Haryana

Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday announced Gurgaon-Rewari Highway via Pataudi as a National Highway. The announcement was made at a meeting held with Haryana PWD Minister Rao <g data-gr-id="24">Narbir</g> Singh in New Delhi.

During the meeting, the Union Minister said that for construction of Grade Separator or <g data-gr-id="23">under pass</g> at IFFCO Chowk, Signature Tower Chowk and Rajiv Chowk in Gurgaon, NHAI would bear 75 per cent of the total cost and remaining 25 per cent would be borne by the Haryana Government.

He also gave the necessary directions to expedite the project of construction of <g data-gr-id="18">flyover</g> and <g data-gr-id="17">under pass</g> at Hero Honda Chowk on EPC mode on <g data-gr-id="16">Delhi Gurgaon</g> Access Controlled highway section of NH-8.

Approving the demand put forth by Singh, the minister announced that NHAI would construct 2.5 km long elevated road at Badshahpur here. Gadkari also announced a four-lane 8 km long road connecting Masani and Rewari. He authorised the state government to complete the portion of four-<g data-gr-id="25">laning</g> of NH-21A in Haryana.
