GMR Group Chairman Grandhi Mallikarjuna Rao received the Lifetime Contribution Award from Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu at the AIMA Managing India Awards 2015 in New Delhi.
Accepting the award at a glittering function in the Capital, Rao said that one of the major factors that contribute to the success of a business leader is the ability to look at every business as a commercial asset without any emotional attachment.
“We continuously align, energise and motivate our top leadership team to take collective decisions on all the big-ticket items. We have invested in family biz governance which has brought in a lot of alignment and clarity,” he added.
