In a bureaucratic reshuffle, four senior officials of Delhi Government were transferred on Thursday.
SC Vashistha,DANICS, officer and was posted as Deputy Secretary, has been transered to L&J department. LR Garg has been appointed special commissioner of Trade and Taxes Department with additional charge of Secretary (LAS) . Ajay Kumar Chawla, a DANICS officer and is posted as Deputy Secretary in the Chief Secretary’s office, has been transfered to Directorate of Education as administrative officer. Sanjeev Kumar, who is Delhi Administration Subordinate Service officer, has been transfered to Directorate of Education as Superintendent.
CBI arrests DP sub-inspector
CBI has arrested a sub-inspector of Delhi Police while allegedly receiving a bribe of Rs 70,000 for not arresting a person in connection with a complaint filed before him. CBI sources said Nirmal Singh, sub-inspector posted in operations cells, Maurice Nagar, was arrested by the agency after he was allegedly caught red-handed receiving the bribe from a person on the pretext of letting him go in a complaint filed before him.
