For the love of food

Delhi tourism organised a week-long food festival – Dilli Ke Pakwan Festival for food lovers in the Capital. The Festival witnessed thousands of food lovers on all the days.

The festival had vendors from Purani Dilli who showcased their expertise in grafting some of the most delectable, mouth watering cuisines. This year there were more than 150 varieties of food to offer  the visitors.

Theme corners were set up where visitors were able to enjoy the taste and also got a vivid glimpse of culture and tradition. Various interactive sessions on cooking took place.  Visitors took part in various competitions, such as best recipe which were held during the week-long event.

Another addition to this year’s Dilli Ke Pakwaan Festival was that, a special kid’s zone had been designed for the children. Various competitions such as quiz contest, painting competition were held for children in that zone.

Cultural programs took place everyday and music brought Dilli Ke Pakwaan alive. The last day of the event saw a performance by Neeraj Bakshi. The venue at Baba Kharag Singh Marg was indeed a perfect getaway for Delhiites to enjoy. Over 3 Lakh visitors visited the venue this year.

Somntah Bharti, Minister of Tourism, Art and Culture, Govt. of Delhi visited the venue and applauded Delhi Tourism’s effort in making this festival, a grand success.
