More than sixty Indian firms will display their products and services at the first ever two-day "Indian trade show" here from Monday. "The first-ever India Show in Dhaka is an exhibition which aims to take India-Bangladesh business relations to the next level to forge mutually rewarding partnerships," the Indian High Commission in Dhaka said in a statement here on Sunday. It said the event would "explore opportunities, build synergies and examine joint investment proposals by business houses on both sides". Indian government offered assistance for the event being organised by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) with their Bangladesh counterpart FBCCI and India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) being partners in the event.
