Minor fire broke out in children’s home in the capital, police said on Wednesday. No causality reported in the incident.
‘The incident took place at about 3.35 pm. Four fire tenders were rushed to the children’s home located at north Delhi’s Alipur area. The fire was in a room on the first floor,’ said a senior police officer.
The fire tenders took half an hour to douse of the fire. The children aged between 6 to 12 stays in the home.
A 10-year-old child was trapped in the toilet located at the same floor. He however, escaped safely with the help of fire officials, said the police official.
Only furniture gutted into the fire. Every child left unhurt, official said.
