Admission to seven more colleges for BA course, including Miranda House and Jesus and Mary College, is closed in the fifth cut-off for the Non Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB) which was released on Tuesday. With this, out of 25 colleges, admission to 14 colleges is closed for BA programme course. Hansraj College had closed its admissions in the fourth list itself.
Similarly, for B Com course, five colleges have filled the available seats. These colleges are Jesus and Mary College, Miranda House, Maitreyi College, PGDAV College and SGGSC of Commerce.
The required marks in the fifth list have not come down much. For admission to B Com, the highest required marks is 72 per cent which was put up by Keshav Mahavidyalya. The highest mark in the fourth cut-off list was 73 per cent. While for BA course, the highest marks in the fifth cut-off has remained same at 71 per cent. The colleges asking for 71 per cent in the latest list are Bharti College, Kalindi College, SGGSC of Commerce and Mata Sundri College.
