India is a country of diversity and with various religions and communities living here, come different festivals to celebrate. And, with the festival of Eid al-Fitr approaching, there are a lot many preparations going on. In order to make your desert menu exclusive and delicious, try the 'Kewra Badam Kheer' this time.

Ingredients:
0.5 cups Kellogg's corn flakes Almond (badaam) paste
1 teaspoon: Ghee
5 cup: Full fat milk
0.5 cup: Sugar
0.25 cup: Blanched, peeled and chopped badaam (almonds)
Few drops of kewra water
Preparation:
Heat ghee in a deep pan, add cornflakes and sauté till it turns light golden in colour. Keep aside.
Boil milk in a broad non-stick pan and allow it to simmer for 15 minutes.
Add the almond paste, mix well and allow it to simmer for 2 more minutes
Add the vermicelli, cover it with a lid and simmer for another 3 to 4 minutes
Add the sugar and cook till the sugar dissolves.
Add the kewra essence and almonds and mix well.
Serve hot or cold
