Fashion goes women empowerment way

Indian Federation for Fashion Development (IFFD) brings India Fashion Summit this March to celebrate fashion, designing and dynamics of the industry. To contribute to social causes IFFD has decided to celebrate cause of women empowerment.

This not the first time the industry is supporting any social cause. The glamour world comes together to promote a pressing concern. IFFD is a platform that works to uplift and revitalize the Indian fashion industry. Acknowledging the fact and empower of the women of the country IFFD agrees that the fashion is incomplete without women. IFFD realises the need to acknowledge the fact and empower women in the country. With so many successful female designers in the country, they want to encourage students, aspiring fashion designers and established and help them embrace their womanhood.

The one day event will begin with the conference and interactive session, where speakers and guests will look upon the various aspects of the fashion industry, from aesthetics to business management. In the evening, the Summit will bring together upcoming and veterans of the industry to showcase their collections at the Fashion Show. Some of the designers who would be participating in fashion show are: Siddarth Tytler, Rosy Ahluwalia, Sanna Chandna, Kailash, Deepika Chandna, Sumit Das Gupta and Swati Mehrotra.
