Martinis are the most beloved cocktails around the world. How crazy do we get to sip onto that cocktail glass and dance to the tunes of some favourite music. This season, prepare yourself with a range of blended martinis in an array of exotic flavors like Basil Martini, Amour Martini, classic Martini and Bond Martini at the chic and historic 1911 Bar and Patiala Peg at The Imperial.
Here are some recipes from the bars to help you make your own Martini:
Basil Martini
45ml Vodka
15ml Triple sec
4nos Basil leaves
5ml Lemon juice
Dash sugar syrup
Instructions
Muddle basil leaves and shake well with vodka, triple sec, lemon juice and serve chilled in martini glass.
Amour Martini
50ml Vodka
10ml Parfait Amour
Instructions
Shake Vodka and Parfait amour and serve chilled in martini glass.
CLASSIC MARTINI
60 ml gin
10 ml dry vermouth
Instructions
Place gin and vermouth in a cocktail shaker with ice.
Gently shake and pour, straining the ice, into a martini glass
Garnish with an olive or a twist of lemon or lime
Bond Martini
Dry Vermouth
60 ml gin, chilled
Instructions
Pour a little bit of dry vermouth in a chilled martini glass and swirl to coat the inside of the glass.
Dispose of excess vermouth. In a shaker full of ice, gently swirl or stir the gin before straining into glass.
Serving suggestion: Garnish with olives, lemon twist or cocktail onion and add rocks if you like.
