A 23-year-old engineer employed with a private firm here committed suicide due to depression, police said on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Ravi Verma. He was working with a private firm in sector-3 of Manesar’s Industrial Model Township. According to police, Ravi, who was living in a rented flat in IMT’s sector-1, returned from his office on Friday evening while his roommate went to work in the night shift. “Ravi’s roommate on Saturday returned from his work and found the door locked from inside. Later, the door was broken and Ravi was found hanging from a ceiling fan,” investigating officer Vijaypal said.
