The commerce and business studies faculty of Delhi university has green signalled the courses put together by the Department of Commerce for the four-year undergraduate programme.
Om Parkash Sharma, dean of Commerce and Business Studies said, ‘We had a meeting at the Delhi School of Economics at 11 am. Thirty seven members from various colleges of DU attended the meeting, of which 31 members unanimously agreed to the curricula put forth by us. The proposal has been sent to AC for the final approval’.
According to Sharma, the composition of the committee included all the nine members of the courses committee from colleges, 20 teachers-in-charge, 17 members of the faculty of Commerce and Business, seven principals, five members of task force, four elected members of academic council, all having commerce background, threefaculty members from the commerce department.
