DTU to offer dual degrees

The Delhi Technological University  (DTU) has plans to introduce dual degrees programmes for its 2013 academic session,  with an aim to synergise science and engineering.

The academic council of DTU, formerly Delhi College of Engineering (DCE), met on Friday to discuss the new academic programmes that are aimed at meeting the needs of the industry.

DTU is all set to welcome thenew academic session 2013-14 with B Tech and MBA dual degree programme, B Tech (IT) evening programme, M Tech programme in Computational Design and M Tech programme in Renewable Energy Technology.

The B Tech evening programme in information technology for instance will offer 30 seats and will be held six days a week from 6 pm to 9 pm.
