“He joined hands with Dujana gang in 2008. Apart from conducting murders, the members were also involved in illegal possession of land in the region. He also played a key role in bringing several gangs on one platform,” said Ajay Sahdev, Superintendent of Police (SP), STF Noida.
The SP further added that Shahzad, in order to save himself, started working with the HRD Ministry where he was driving the vehicle of the Minister of State.
“The police got tip-off about his involvement with the ministry and a trap was laid to nab him. He was arrested by a team following which revelations were made.
“As he was attached with the ministry, it was not easy to apprehend him. The team, after going through necessary formalities, arrested him,” added the SP. Meanwhile, the ministry has yet not reacted over the entire development.
