Update: 2016-04-04 00:35 GMT
The Delhi Metro  rail Corporation (DMRC) will undertake an online customer satisfaction survey, for the third year in a row, employing a range of parameters covering an array  of areas, including security, comfort and reliability of the vast network.

Similar surveys will be undertaken simultaneously by several other Metro systems across the world, DMRC chief spokesperson Anuj Dayal said. It will begin from April 4 and continue till May 1. “The survey shall focus on the availability of trains, accessibility, ease of use, information prior to and during travel, reliability, customer care, comfort, crowding and security,” he said. The bilingual survey, which has been hosted on the ‘Survey Monkey’ web platform and available on the Metro’s website, will give a participant five options, ranging from ‘very satisfied’ to ‘very dissatisfied’, to choose from.

“This survey is being conducted in association with two main global bodies for Metro systems CoMET and NOVA. After its completion, metro organisations across the world will compare their results and share feedback,” Dayal said.

The DMRC has been participating in similar surveys since 2014. In the survey conducted last year, the DMRC had topped the ‘Information during travel’ category and was placed second in terms of ‘train cleanliness and comfort’ among 20 member Metro systems of CoMET and NOVA groups.
