DMRC, DTU come together for metro rail laboratory

A senior delegation from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) inaugurated the Metro Research and Testing Laboratory at Delhi Technological University (DTU) on Thursday.

Sudhir Krishna, secretary, ministry of urban development and chairman, DMRC and Mangu Singh, managing director were present on the occasion.

Sudhir Krishna began inauguration proceedings for the Metro Research and Testing Laboratory.

Sudhir Krishna, said, ‘Delhi Metro has already made a big impact on improving the transportation system of Delhi and it has become a role model for other states of the country to emulate its benchmark of success.’  

‘In the ministry of urban development, we are committed to building a bright future by our continued quest for energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, highly secured and reliable public transport, intelligent highways and expressways, town-planning and development of green habitats and support services of high public value,’ Krishna added.
