The leader of the opposition in Delhi Vidhan Sabha Harsh Vardhan has accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of not allowing him to speak during the assembly proceedings on Thursday.
‘I wanted to raise some serious issues in the assembly but the AAP only allowed their MLAs to speak which resulted in a chaos in the assembly,’ Vardhan said.
He also said that Delhi government was not willing to listen to the views of the opposition at all, and this led to a lot of disturbance in the working of the assembly.
He mentioned that he wanted to raise some key issues such as charges against Somnath Bharti for illegaly entering the premises of African students and calling them prostitutes, breach of section 144 by Arvind Kejriwal and his supporters by holding dharna in front of the Rail Bhawan leading to inconvenience for general public.
He also accused AAP MLA Somnath Bharti of violating the laws time and again. ‘He has been indulging in illegal activities for a very long time. He used to work for a foreign company which was guilty of spamming in the US. He is making fun of our legal system,’ said Vardhan.
